During the Cinekid for Professionals Awards Ceremony today two awards were handed out to projects in the Junior Co-Production Market. Last week Cinekid handed out the Cinekid Power to the Pixel Prize at the Power to the Pixel Forum in London.
CINEKID POWER TO THE PIXEL PRIZE
The winning project handed out by Cinekid last week at Power to the Pixel is SHIPANTICS by Studio POWWOW, Richard Glynn.
EURIMAGES CO-PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT AWARD
The Eurimages Co-production Development Award is awarded to the best feature film project in the Junior Co-production Market (eligible for Eurimages). The Award is provided by the European cinema support fund Eurimages in order to promote European youth film, with the intention to stimulate European co-productions. The winner received € 20.000.
The following three projects received a special mention from the Eurimages jury:

MIA SLEEPS ASTRAY, Snowcloud Films AB, Petter Lindblad (SE)
EVEN MICE BELONG IN HEAVEN, Fresh Films, Vladimir Lhotak (CZ)
The winner of the EURIMAGES CO-PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT AWARD is:
AN OCEAN BETWEEN, Original Film, Mona Steffensen & Torfinn Iversen (NO)
The winners received € 20.000.
The jury decided to give the first Eurimages development Award at Cinekid to a team, that developed an original and very personal and sensitive story. it's also a univeral story with high artistic value. A young boy is left almost alone and refinds his strength in life through an uncommon friendship with an older man and a horse.
Cinekid for Professionals Best Project Award
A selected jury handed out the CfP Best Project Award to the best overall project of the Junior Co-production Market based on quality, innovation and international potential. The award is accompanied with a €2.500 cash prize.

From the three nominees the jury picked LET'S PLAY A STORY as the winner of the CfP Best Project Award.
