Cinekid celebrates children’s media in all it’s forms. The festival has an extensive films, television and new media programme, focusing on the latest and most qualitative features, short films, documentaries, installations, workshops and television productions as well as a well respected international film competition and a national new media and television competition.

For Children:
Cinekid is the world’s largest media festival for children, held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Every year more than 50.000 children are given the opportunity to visit over 500 media productions that Cinekid presents: feature films, children’s documentaries, short films, animations, TV series and single productions, cross media productions, interactive installations and set-ups and workshops.

For Professionals:
Cinekid for Professionals is a four day event held during the nine day kids festival. Over 300 makers, financers, producers, distributors and buyers come to Amsterdam to inspire each other and enter into co productions and joint ventures. They close deals, network, watch new films and programmes and find new partners. Cinekid for Professionals consists of co production markets, the ScreeningClub (Buyers Market) and the Cinekid for Professionals Conference.

Cinekid welcomes journalists and media representatives and invites them to cover the festival.
