James Alliban is an Augmented Reality specialist and interactive artist from London, UK. He currently works at the award winning London based agency Skive where he conceptualises and builds AR applications and games. His experiments in AR have developed a great deal of interest in the last year, leading to the founding of his company Augmatic.

Outside of work he investigates new technology with a view to creating innovative interactive artwork and experiments, many of which can be found on his blog. Working mainly with open source arts based programming languages, such as Processing and openFrameworks, James builds installations and iPhone applications that employ a wide variety of computer vision and image processing techniques.

James holds an MA in Hyperfictions from The University of Hertfordshire.
